If you've ever taken your clothes out of the drier only to find out they're still a little (or a lot) wet, you're not alone. Nevertheless, two simple changes to the way you do your laundry can avoid this problem.
First and foremost, always ensure your lint screen is clean before drying. Most people avoid cleaning the lint screen regularly and this makes the dryer less efficient. (As an added bonus, it also causes a fire hazard.) Second, Redditor emilylime suggests shaking your clothes out. Often times they ball up in the wash and moisture is more easily retained when garments are condensed. (This is also causes more wrinkles.) Before you loud the dryer, just shake your clothing out a bit over the washing machine so your dryer isn't attempting to dry a clump of fabric. If you do these two things, you'll be far less likely to end up with wet or damp clothes at the end of your laundry cycle.
