L.A. Love & Leashes may be marking their first year of finding fur-ever homes for pets in need, but the celebration of the pet store? which is dedicated solely to animals from Los Angeles?s six shelters? will be a ?Golden? anniversary thanks to an appearance from the perennial Golden Girl of animal welfare, Betty White!
On December 3rd fans of Fidos, felines and famous faces are invited to the join the ?shelter shop? (which was created by the volunteer-run Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters) and cheer for the 398 dogs and cats who have been adopted since the store opened, meet some adorable adoptables, enjoy refreshments, try to win a prize in a giveaway and see every animal lover?s favorite star.
As an added bonus, fans who visit the store through December 3rd can enter to win an item autographed by Betty White or the chance to have a photo taken with the Hot in Cleveland star during the event.
Admission: Free
When: December 3, 2012 from 5 p.m. ? 8 -p.m. (Betty White scheduled to appear at 6 p.m.)
